Book Cover: This volume explores cryptoeconomic theories shaping blockchain and its integration with AI in the modern redefinition of digital systems. Cryptoeconomics is the study of cryptography-based economic systems, particularly distributed ledger technologies, in which blockchain is both a money technology and a secure computing infrastructure. Blockchain implementation is expanding across AI (DeAI), finance (DeFi), science (DeSci), and physical infrastructure (DePIN), facilitating central bank digital currencies (CBDCs), real-world asset digitization, and financial automation. AI-blockchain synergy is implicated as both require attestation, provenance, identity, history, tokenization, multi-party coordination, and interoperability. Blockchains embody mathematical computing, emergent economies, and adaptive software, transforming banking, infrastructure security, and regenerative finance, while fueling the AI centralization-decentralization debate. This book presents cryptoeconomic frameworks for distributed trust, verifiable identity, and policy-driven digital governance in an interconnected ecosystem of humans, AI, and autonomous agents.
