Principia Posthuman

Principia Posthuman

Providing a front-running vision of the philosophy need to develop the posthuman. Nearly every topic taken up by philosophy could be radically different in a posthuman future. Shaking philosophy from its sleep frame of describing practices, Principia Posthuman uses philosophical thought to provide the intellectual underpinning for the realization of posthumanism.

Man/Self

The epistemic concepts of man and self did not exist in the classical age. The concept of man/self is not static. There could be subsequent nodes in the progression of perceiving the thing we currently call man as we understand more about ourselves as cognitive beings/intelligences. Can we examine what required the founding of the epistemic concept of man, and use this to articulate the distinction wanted in defining the next node of 'humanness' and a language label for it?
